Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-09-25
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Chatbase (also written Chattbase), the shared customer-support
inbox available at chattbase.site and its subdomains (the “Service”). The Service is operated by
iIRRAKI (Chafiq Chouqui), Morocco (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our
Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are
authorized to accept these Terms for that business, and “you” refers to that business.
1. The Service
Chatbase brings WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram direct messages and public comments into a shared workspace. Depending on
your plan, it also offers catalog messages, Shopify integration, message templates, campaigns, automation flows, analytics and
AI-assisted replies. We may improve, change or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice before we remove a
core feature of a paid plan.
2. Accounts and sign-in
- You can sign in with a username and password or, where offered, with a Google or Facebook account that you have connected.
You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in methods secure.
- An account owner can add team members and decide which workspaces and features each one can use. The owner is
responsible for their team members' activity, and for removing access when it is no longer needed.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you
believe your account has been used without permission.
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to create an account.
3. Free trial, plans and billing
- New accounts may start with a free trial, normally 7 days. When the trial ends, access is paused until you choose a paid plan.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, through our payment provider (Stripe). Plans renew automatically
each month until cancelled.
- Each plan includes the allowances shown when you subscribe, such as AI conversations, template messages, team members and
workspaces. Usage above an allowance may be charged at the overage rate shown for your plan, or may be limited.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing portal or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current
billing period. Fees already paid are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend access to the Service until the balance is paid.
- Prices do not include taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices for future billing periods, with at least 30 days' notice.
- Meta may charge the owner of a WhatsApp Business Account for messages under Meta's own pricing and terms. Those charges are
separate from your Chatbase plan unless your plan says otherwise.
4. Your responsibilities and acceptable use
You agree that you will:
- Only connect WhatsApp numbers, Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, stores and other accounts that you own or are authorized to manage.
- Comply with all laws that apply to your messages and business, including privacy, consumer protection and anti-spam laws.
- Comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, WhatsApp Business Terms, Meta Platform Terms, Meta Commerce Policies, Instagram
and Messenger policies, and the terms of any other connected platform.
- Obtain and record the consent required before you send marketing messages or campaigns, and honor opt-out requests promptly.
- Be responsible for the content your team sends, including templates, campaigns, automated replies and public comment replies.
You must not use the Service to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or messages to people who have not agreed to receive them.
- Send unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, hateful or infringing content, or sell goods and services that connected
platforms prohibit.
- Collect or use personal data without a lawful basis, or impersonate another person or business.
- Probe, disrupt or overload the Service, bypass its security or access controls, or access another customer's data.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written agreement.
5. Third-party services
The Service works with services provided by others, including Meta (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and Facebook), Google, Shopify,
Stripe, delivery providers and AI model providers. Your use of these services is governed by their own terms. Their availability,
permissions, rules and prices can change outside our control, and this can affect what the Service can do. A connected platform may
suspend or restrict your account under its own policies. We are not responsible for those decisions.
6. AI features
AI-generated suggestions, replies, summaries and analyses can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing
them and for deciding whether to send them to your customers or rely on them. If you enable automatic AI replies, you are
responsible for their configuration and for their messages. Conversation content is sent to our AI providers only as needed
to perform the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Your data
- You keep all rights to the content and customer data you or your customers submit through the Service (“Customer Data”).
You give us permission to host, process, transmit and display Customer Data only to provide, secure and support the Service.
- You are responsible for having the right to process Customer Data with the Service, and for informing your customers as the law requires.
- We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can request deletion of your data
by following the data deletion instructions.
- You can ask us for an export of your Customer Data before your account closes. After it closes, we may delete Customer Data
after a reasonable retention period, unless the law requires us to keep it.
8. Our intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, design and brand. While you have an active account, we give you a
limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal business purposes under these Terms.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
9. Suspension and termination
- You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
- We may suspend or close an account if it breaks these Terms or the rules of a connected platform, if payment is overdue, if its
use creates a security or legal risk, or if the law requires it. When reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- Sections 3 (for amounts owed), 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 14 continue to apply after the account ends.
10. Disclaimers
We work to keep the Service available and secure. However, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law
allows, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from delivery delays. We also do not guarantee
that messages will be delivered by third-party platforms.
11. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits,
revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for
the Service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot
be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs from third parties. This covers claims arising from your Customer Data,
the messages and content your team sends, or your breach of these Terms, the law or a connected platform's policies.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will tell account owners by email or in the Service at
least 15 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Disputes are handled by the competent courts of Morocco.
This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
